HI! I’m Dawn,
a cinematographer based in Los Angeles.
Originating from South Korea, my early years were filled with adventures. After graduation from the American Film Institute conservatory’s cinematography master’s program in 2014, I embarked on a career as a freelance cinematographer.
From feature films to commercials, music videos, and documentaries, I’ve had a blast working on a diverse range of projects. I excel in problem-solving and thrive in collaborative environments. Eager to contribute my skills to your project and bring cinematic visions to life.
When I'm not behind the camera, you’ll find me immersed in various outdoor sports. I also hold a pilot license and navigate open waters as a sailor. My technical proficiency extends beyond hobbies to my fascination with filmmaking.
As a problem solver and perpetual learner, I stay updated on the latest technical aspects of filmmaking, blending my technical expertise with the creative flair in the field of cinematography.
